Jonathan "Jon" Berry, age 45, of St. Charles, Virginia, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026. He was born July 11, 1981, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, to Mona Lisa (Berry) Mowery and the late Darrell David Harless.

Jon was a loving dad, a great husband, and a good friend who would give you the shirt off his back. He had more friends than anyone could count, including his best friend since school, Jonathan Shepherd.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Faye Harless; maternal grandparents, Jack and Shirley Berry; and mother-in-law, Cynthia Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Berry; daughters, Heaven Berry and Aleah Berry; mother and stepfather, Mona Lisa (Berry) and Kenny Mowery; half sister, Saprina Harless; half brother, Ricky Skidmore; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be announced at a later date.
