Johnny Patton Stewart, 63, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home in Jonesville, Virginia.

John was born on March 22, 1962 to the late George and Emma Stewart in Pennington Gap, Virginia. John had previously attended Russells Chapel Church.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George Lee Stewart.

Those left to cherish his memory is his son, Jonathan Stewart; two sisters, Margaret Hicks and Mary Newman; a brother, Norman Stewart; nieces Jessica France; nephew, Charlie Newman; great niece, Molly France; great nephew, Jaxon Newman; along with several cousins and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Hillside Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Neff officiating. Family and and friends are asked to be at the cemetery by 1:30 PM.
