Obituary Johnathan Will Coomer age 31 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Thursday, December 17, 1987 in Pennington Gap and passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Keokee, VA. He had served in the U.S. Army and had been a cook. Johnathan was preceded in death by his mother Rachel Music Gordon, grandparents Robert Carl and Mildred Coomer, grandfather Ran Musick two uncles Dan Coomer and Fred Coomer, two aunts Evelyn Caudill and Bobby Sue Coomer and several more aunts and uncles. He is survived by his father Jimmy Coomer and companion Carol Stebbins of Pennington Gap, VA, brothers Jimmy Joe Coomer of Pennington Gap, VA, Daniel Coomer of Ocoonita, VA and Shawn Campbell of Pennington Gap, VA, one sister Nicki Nichole Coomer, grandmother Ellen Musick of Pennington Gap, VA, three nieces Kirsten Coomer, Kandice Coomer, Allison Coomer, one nephew Daniel Coomer and a host of many extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Military Rites will be conducted by the local VFW Post and the Army National Guard Honors Team. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
