John (J.B.) Hall age 78 Rose Hill, VA was born Sunday, February 19, 1939 in Rose Hill and passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home. He had worked as a landscaper for Davis Brothers Nursery and loved to garden. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewel Hall, parents George and Hettie Hall, one sister Geneva Hall and one brother Carl Hall. J.B. is survived by three sons Eddie Hall and wife, Pam of Rose Hill, VA, Shawn Hall and wife, April of Jonesville, VA and Steven Nelson and wife, Tabitha of Jonesville, VA, four daughters Karen Hall and Jackie Wiles of Rose Hill, VA, Tracey Strouth and husband, Cecil of Pound, VA, Stacy Hall of Jonesville, VA and Shannon Sargent and husband, Jeff of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren Christal, Bryan, Jonathan, Maranda, Kayla, Kelly, Paige, Tiffany, Tia, Lucas, seven great-grandchildren Destinee, Tanner, Bradley, Amia, Matthew, Dylan and Aliah, two brothers Charles Hall and wife, Grace of Jonesville, VA, Darrell Hall and wife, Ethel of Rose Hill, VA and one sister Irene Wilson and husband, Jim of Jonesville, VA. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Tim Vanadore officiating.
