Joannie Renee Tritt age 36 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Charlottesville, VA on Monday, November 4, 1978 and passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She had worked as a Medication Tech at Chestnut Grove Assisted living and was of the Holiness Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Ida and Leroy Hensley, one brother Terry Hensley and one sister Kim Hensley. Joannie is survived by her sons Bryan Tritt, Bradley Tritt and Brady Tritt all of the home, her sisters Janie Sanders and husband, Billy of Wise, VA, Trisha Hensley of Pennington Gap, VA, Pam Mefford and husband, Buck of Wise, VA and Tanya Woodard and husband, Chip of Jonesville, VA. She is also survived by her special friend Chester Domoe and daughter, Mercedes Domoe of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Tony Witt officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm Friday until the time of the service. The graveside service will be at 1:30 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:30 Saturday to go to the cemetery.
