Jo Ann Bartley Wilson, 87, of the Deep Springs, Virginia community went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her residence.

Jo Ann was born on August 18, 1937 in Lee County, Virginia to the late Nicholas Rhea Bartley and Virgie J. Napier Bartley. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Sumner Reid Wilson; brothers, Conard William Bartley, Garland Bartley, Marvin James Bartley, George Gilmer Bartley; sister, Helen Bartley Kirk, Ruth Bartley Bledsoe, and Ethel Eliza Bartley White.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; daughter, Reida Wilson Blair; grandchildren, Samantha Blair, Jackie Blair, Keisha Wilson, and Joshua Wilson; great grandchildren, Kayeln Grubb and Jolene Wilson; sisters, Omalee Bartley Beverly of Kingsport, Tennessee, Margaret Bartley Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Doris Bartley Crawford, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Powell Valley Cemetery with Pastor Josh Bennett officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 AM.
