Obituary Jimmy Frank Carroll, age 71, of Rose Hill, VA, was born June 10, 1949 in Wise, VA and passed away July 7, 2020 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Big Stone Gap, VA. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Carroll; three brothers, William P. Carroll, John Carroll, and Sam Carroll all of Rose Hill, VA; one sister Sallie Maness of Whitesburg, Tennessee. He is survived by his ex wife Carol; one daughter Lisa Messick; one grandson Jamie Taylor; one granddaughter Bella Messick; 2 great grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by two brothers Anthony Carroll (Angela) of Jonesville, VA and Ernie Carroll and friend Jan of Rose Hill, VA; four sisters, Melissa Matthews and husband Allen of Rose Hill, VA., Teresa Moore of Rogersville, TN, Rose Fee and Penny Carroll both of Rose Hill, VA; also survived by many more nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews- and many more family and friends. His special care givers was his nephew Ralph Carroll, two sisters Melissa Matthews and Rose Fee, niece Angela Owens, and Jeannie Gilley. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday with Pastor Timothy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
