Jim Stevens Tribble Sr, 63, of Duffield went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born on January 5, 1960 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Joseph Tribble and Doris Cavins Tribble. He worked as a coal miner until his retirement. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Billy Ray Tribble; sister, Omega Hendricks; brother, John Tribble; granddaughter, Natalie Garcia; special niece, Margaret Saylor; special nephew, Bumper Stamper; special friend, Dennis Million.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret Tribble; son, Jim Tribble Jr; daughters, Heather Garcia and husband Mario, Sarah Jones and husband William, Rachel Sharp and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Aubrie, Lincoln, Hailey, Alesia, and Jacob; brother, Jerry Tribble; sisters, Anna Fuson, Oaklee Perkins, Susie Gross, and Judy Russell; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home, A funeral service will follow with Pastor Chuck Grimm officiating.

A private graveside service will be held at Tribble Family Cemetery.
