Obituary Jerry Wayne Miles age 68 of St. Charles, VA was born Monday, April 10, 1950 in St. Charles and passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was of the Baptist Faith, loved the outdoors and his family. He is preceded in death by his son Charles Shepard, parents Herbert and Christine Miles, sisters Wilma Jean Reed, Jerema Edgar and Shirley Miles. Jerry is survived by his wife Emma June Miles of the home, daughter Melissa Sweeney and husband, Wayne of Stickleyville, VA, brother Jimmy Miles and wife, Betty of Jonesville, VA, several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Wallens Cemetery on Graveyard Hill in St. Charles, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm for the service.
