Jennie Lou Stuart age 70 of the Woodway Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born Wednesday, February 28, 1945 in Pikeville, KY and passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Jennie was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Stuart, parents Wallace and Pauline Thompson a brother Ireland Thompson and four sisters Mary McCoy, Freda Phelps, Jessie Thacker and Betty Taylor. Jennie is survived by two sons Tony Thompson and wife, Shelley of Cincinnati, OH and Mark Thompson of Harlan, KY, three daughters Mary Simmons of Nitro, WV, Pauline Miller of Woodway, VA and Montica Gunn and husband, Jeff of Dryden, VA, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Wally Thompson and wife, Kay and Gary Thompson all of Woodway, VA and four sisters Edna Tennmen of Ohio, Billie Miller, Joann Tristani, Barbara Garcia and husband, Mike all of Woodway, VA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Long Hollow Christian Church in the Long Hollow Community of Pennington Gap, VA with Brother Jeff Gunn officiating.
