Janice "Pee Wee" Grabeel age 76 of Rose Hill, VA was born in Rose Hill on Thursday, July 27, 1939 and passed away at her home on Thursday, February 4, 2016. She had worked as a florist at Dorothys Flowers and Gifts and was a member of the Morgan Memorial Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Grabeel, her parents Ernest and Vola Marcum, a brother Russell Marcum, four sisters Alma Marcum, Phyllis Johnson, Virginia Green and Margaret Baumgardner. Janice is survived by her niece and caregiver Janice Dillman and husband, Brad of Rose Hill, VA, three sisters Ruth Baumgardner of Rose Hill, VA, Onalee "Bess" Wright of Morristown, TN and Sue Spurlock of Rose Hill, VA and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA with Phil Cheek to officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:30 PM Saturday for the service.
