James Henry William Yeary, age 74, of Jonesville, Virginia passed away peacefully at his home on Friday afternoon, May 26, 2023. He was born on December 1, 1948 and was the son of the late Henry and Lorraine Yeary of Jonesville, Virginia He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed farming. James is also preceded in death by a son, James Yeary, Jr.

He is survived by:

One daughter: Peggy Robbins of Jonesville, VA

One son: Chris Yeary of Washington

One brother: Darrell Yeary and wife Marie of Jonesville. VA

Six grandchildren: Megan, Joey, Christian, Jessi, Tyler and Aidan

Four great grandchildren: Freya, Leon, James and baby girl Merino

Special niece: Lisa Horton of Ewing, VA

Special Friend: Ray Hammonds of Jonesville, VA

Several Nieces, a nephew, other family members and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm in the chapel of the PENNINGTON GAP FUNERAL HOME, 42098 E. MORGAN AVE., PENNINGTON GAP, VIRGINIA. Family and friends then will proceed to the Yeary Family Cemetery, Radio Drive, Jonesville, Virginia for a graveside committal service with Pastor George Flanary officiating. Military rites will also be performed by the Virginia National Honor Guard. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
