James Glenn Orick age 65 of Appalachia, VA was born in Pennington Gap, VA on Wednesday, September 27, 1950 and passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home. James had retired from Wal-Mart in Big Stone Gap and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Vivian Orick, a brother Raymond Orick, two sisters Linda Orick and Mary Ellen Ruehrmund and one niece Heather Renee Orick. James is survived by two sisters Rebecca Taylor and husband, Johnny and Barbara Jones and husband, Johnny. At the request of Mr. Orick he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
