Obituary James Brent Olinger age 72 of Dryden, VA was born November 8, 1950 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away at his home January 11, 2023. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife Jackie Olinger and his parents James and Margaret Olinger. He is survived by three daughters Amanda Olinger of Dryden, VA, Brittani Olinger of the home, Courtnee Rome and husband, James of Dryden, VA, six grandchildren whom he loved very much; Landry, AJ, Abbie, Rile, Kadee, Harleigh and husband, Alex, one brother Dickie Olinger of Dryden, VA, one sister Tammy Herrell of Dryden, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2023 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A special thank you to the caregivers, over the years and a special thanks to Mary and Virginia. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
