James M.R. Collins of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Pattonsville, VA and passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Mr. Collins retired from the Army National Guard and was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by his wife Roberta Collins of the home, two daughters Elizabeth Allen of Pennington Gap, VA and Cyndy Jennings of Weber City, VA, four sons Richard Collins and wife, Dee of Pennington Gap, VA, Jimmy Collins of Pennington Gap, VA, David Collins and wife, Tammy of Great Falls, SC and Scott Collins of Pennington Gap, VA, his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Charlie Collins of Rogersville, TN, Franklin 'Peanut' Collins of Rogersville, TN and one sister Janice Arrington of Greenville, TN.
