James Raymond McQueen, 67, of Keokee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at UT Medical Center.

James was born on December 26, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan. James was a proud coal miner for many years before his retirement. He was a loving husband, proud father, caring grandfather, devoted brother and uncle.

James is preceded in death by his father, James Walter McQueen.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Robin McQueen; mother, Retha Joyce Carter McQueen; children, James Brandon McQueen, April Faith Garrette (Shawn), Patrick Allen McQueen (Melissa), and Jessica Renee McQueen (Bob); grandchildren, Allison, Abigail, Avree, Braelynn, Alexis, Taylor, Christopher, and Matthew; brother, Henry McQueen; sister, Teresa Salyer; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
