James "Jim" William German age 74 of Rose Hill, VA was born in Missouri on Monday, April 14, 1941 and passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had formerly worked as a welder before retiring and was a member of the Morgan Memorial United Methodist Church in Rose Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca German, his parents Everett and Thelma German and one brother Donnie German. James is survived by one son Paul German and wife, Holly of Maynardville, TN, three grandchildren Rachel, Bethany and Miah all of Maynardville, TN and one brother Dale German of Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM at the Morgan Memorial United Methodist Church in Rose Hill, VA on Friday, December 18, 2015 with Rev. Norman Clark officiating.
