Obituary James Edward "Bim" Bryson, age 49, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was born Monday, November 9, 1970 in Lee County, VA. He was a coal miner his whole life. His passionate hobby was music and being a musician. He loved his fur babies Ms. Kitty, Whisky, Max and Pepper. He played little league baseball for seven years. He was an excellent pitcher because of practicing everyday with his dad. James is preceded in death by father Johnny Harold Bryson Sr. and his grandparents James Goldman, and Alice Cleo Bryson, and Alfred and Violet Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife Pattie Bryson of the home; his mother Freda Bryson; one step son Cody Muse and wife Megan of Dryden, VA; one brother Johnny Bryson and wife Melinda of Woodway, VA; two sisters Alice 'Sissy' Ridings and husband Wayne of St. Charles, VA, Kathy McGeorge of Church Hill, TN; nieces and nephews Vanessa, Hootie, Josh, Christina, Ashley, Michael and several aunts, uncles and extended family and his amazing friends Chad and Zack Lane. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Darbyville Baptist Church in St.Charles, VA.
