James Alexander age 77 of Blackwater, VA was born in Hillsville, VA on Friday, June 13, 1940 and passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by one son Jeffery Alexander, parents Page and Ora Alexander and one sister Bernice Reeves. James is survived by his wife Alice Alexander of the home, four sons David Lee Alexander of Miami, FL, Roger Alexander of the home, Robert Alexander of Duffield, VA and James Alexander and wife, Kay of Kingsport, TN, one daughter Tammy Sexton and husband, Leroy, Sr. of Surgoinsville, TN and two sisters Bertha Handy and Francis Willis both of Galax, VA.
