Obituary Jackie Barnette age 71 of Keokee, VA was born Monday, June 25, 1951 in Lee County, VA and passed away at her home on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Jackie loved Jesus and going to church, and loved to sing. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Reba and Bramble Barnette, and a sister Bertha Marie. Jackie is survived by her sisters Mildred Sparks of the home, Helen Malone and husband, Dave of Keokee, VA, Hilda Rutherford and husband, Jim of Keokee, VA, Nancy Scott and husband, Terry of Pennington Gap, VA, Lisa Roberts and husband, Pete of Jonesville, VA, brothers David Barnette and wife, Ruth of Jonesville, VA, Archie Barnette and wife, Pam of Holly, MI, Jimmie Barnette and wife, Reenie of Stickleyville, VA, Ernie Barnette of Jonesville, VA, several nieces, nephews and her caregiver for the past four years Kimberly Stapleton. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Meadowfork Baptist Church in Keokee, VA. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday with Pastor David Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Cemetery in Keokee, VA.
