Obituary Jackie Dale Adams, Sr. age 73 of Pennington Gap, VA was born Friday, June 1, 1945 in Martinsville, IN and passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Harlan ARH Hospital in Harlan, KY. He retired as a saw mill worker and was of the Pentecostal Faith. He is preceded in death by his son Wesley Adams, parents Dean Adams Helen Lush, six brothers Bill, Joe, Tim, Gary, Kenny, Eric and Earl Adams, four sisters Rosie, Betty, Dorothy and Mae. Jackie is survived by his wife of 49 years Bertie Adams of the home, four sons Shannon Adams of Martinsville, IN, Jackie Adams, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Martinsville, VA, Earl Johnson and wife, Amy of Franklin, IN and Clarence Johnson and wife, Ellen of the Stone Creek Community, one daughter Jewell Webb and husband, Jake of St. Charles, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four half-brothers Johnny Adams of Tennessee, Roger Adam of Indianapolis, IN, Dean Adams and Robert Adams both of Cambridge, TN, three sisters Sue Crowe, Ann Lotterman and Eloise Walls all of Martinsville, IN and one step-sister Lisa Adams of Martinsville, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday with Rev. Terry Blondel officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
