Jack Ray Tkautz, age 66, of the Stone Creek Community passed away September 21, 2024 following an ATV accident. He was born on October 10, 1957 in Painesville, Ohio.
He worked many years for Great Eastern Construction and retired from Over the Road Long Haul Trucking. He loved taking road trips with his friends on his Harley. His favorite pastime was working on anything with an engine especially old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise and Raymond Tkautz; brother, Jimmy; and sister, Pamela.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Gloria Martin Tkautz; his dog and companion, Harley; daughters, Christina of Youngstown, Ohio and Jessica of Madison, Ohio; stepson, David of Pennington Gap, Virginia; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Rylee, Angelina, Christian, Meadow, and Mason all of Ohio and Tiler and Jessica of Pennington Gap, Virginia; 3 great grandchildren, Kerian, Rush, and Libry; two of the best friends anyone could have, Randy Burns of Eastlake, Ohio and Jeff Barker of Dryden, Virginia; along with a host of family and friends who love him dearly.
As per his wishes he will be cremated with no formal services.
Jack Ray Tkautz and his family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
