Obituary Jack Newton Stevens age 74 of Smith, Ky was born Saturday, October 14, 1944 and went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He loved his children, grandchildren, animals, gardening, logging, loved fooling with horses and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parent James and Roxie Stevens, five brothers Frank, Crockett, Ford, Lab and Rodney Stevens, three sisters Janet Peterson, Bonita Hololens and Roseann Stevens, one grandson Robert Stevens, Jr. and one son-in-law Mark Woodard. Jack was survived by his wife Jerry Lynn Stevens who went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, December 27, 2018, five sons James Stevens of Smith, KY, Leslie Stevens and wife, Carla of Cranks, KY, Robert Stevens and wife, Michelle of Pennington Gap, VA, Frank R. Stevens of Hulen, KY and Neil Stevens of Nashville, TN, one daughter Machelle Hartsock and husband, Matthew of Jonesville, VA, 13 grandchildren, Austin and wife Marcella of Smith, KY, Gabriel, Michael, Rebecca, Jack, Jr., Jackalynn, Ethan, Haley, Malea and Mason Stevens, Justin and Natasha Woodard and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Pace Chapel in Smith, KY and funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 with Jerry Collins officiating.
