Imogene Shupe, 88, went to be with the Lord on, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Lee Health and Rehabilitation.

Imogene was born on June 22, 1937, to her parents, Dan and Bessie Lovell in Virginia.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce Wright and Charlene Fleenor; a brother, Donald Lovell.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Jimmy Shupe; daughter, Cathy Shupe; grandchild, Jessica Dean (Jeff) and Jimmy Michael Shupe Jr. ; great grandchildren, Emmalee Cooper and Cade Cooper; nieces, Debbie Gavin (Jay) and Sherrie Daniels; nephews, Rick and Terry Wright; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Neff officiating.

A committal service will follow the funeral at 2:00 pm at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Virginia.
