Huston Frank Bailey, Sr, age 86, of Jonesville, VA passed away peacefully Saturday March 16, 2024 at Lee Health and Rehabilitation while surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 1, 1937 in Keokee, VA a son of the late Virgil and Mary Collier Bailey.

He moved to LaSalle County, IL in 1953 and married the late Donna Carlson Bailey in January of 1960. Huston farmed for several years and owned his own business "Bailey Barge Maintenance and Repair" He retired in 1991 and moved to be closer to his brothers and sisters.

Besides his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a son: Shane Warren Bailey, brother: Claude Bailey, Sister: Dinah Bailey and son in law: Steven Johnson.

He is survived by Daughters: Debbie (Steve) Moore, Beth (Curtis) Kueteman, Laurie Johnson and Shelley (Darin) Naggs

Son: Huston (Sarah) Bailey, Jr

Sister: Sylvia (Fred) Jackson

Brothers: Melvin, Claude and Ronnie Bailey

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with a whole community of friends also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11 am until 1pm at the Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A celebration of Huston's life will follow in the funeral chapel with Pastor Sean Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donation be made to Lee Health an Rehab Center, activities department, 208 Healthcare Drive, Pennington Gap, VA 24277
