Obituary Howard Woodard 81 went home to be with Our Heavenly Father On January 17 2023. He was a long time resident of Harrison Tn. Howard was born April 11 1941 and raised in Keokee, Virginia. Hiking, Fishing and enjoying creation were some of his favorite things to do but His Most Favorite was being a Papaw. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Hope Cathey of Manchester Tn. Mother Chaney M. Penley Father William A. Woodard both of Keokee. Brothers Harold E. (Garnetta), Guy (Bea), Victor, Kennie (Sylvia), and Robert. Sisters Vera (Bill) Robbins, Zola, and Virginia known as Sally (Jim) Adams. Survivors include 1 Sister Christine (Ernie) Gomez of Taylor Michigan. Son Wayne Woodard and Daughter Angie (Bob) Howard of Harrison Tn. Nine Grandchildren: Chasity (Corey) Snider of Trion Ga., Brandy (Richard) Waits of Ooltewah Tn., Johnny (Katie) Woodard of Delano, Tn., Candy (Chase) Overby of Ooltewah Tn., Shane (Katie) Howard of Lafayette Ga., Bret Howard of Lafayette Ga., Katy (Casey) Heatherly of Ringgold Ga., Chanigail (Anthony) Trotter of Soddy Daisy Tn., Kyle Howard of Harrison Tn. and 28 Great grandchildren and many others that he loved and held in his heart. Survivors also include many other family members including his loving nieces and nephews. A graveside Service will be held Saturday January 28. Please arrive around 11:30 am as we will start the procession to Anderson Cemetery Hwy 606 sharply at 12. There will be a meal and gathering at Meadowfork Charity Baptist Church afterward. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in his honor to The Children's Advocacy Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
