Helen Blair Bennett age 83 of Kingsport, TN was born Sunday, January 14, 1934 in Louellen, KY and passed away Tuesday, April 18, 1986 at the Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She had been a nurse in Orlando, FL for 40 years and has been living in Kingsport the past 16 years. Helen was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Bennett, parents Otis and Thelma Blair and two brothers Denver Blair and Charles "Pee Wee" Blair. Helen is survived by one sister Doris Ball and husband, Joe of Somerset, KY, nieces Tammy Moore, Denise Blair, Robin Blair and Irris Boaz, nephews Kenton Ball, J. Todd Ball, Sam Blair and a sister-in-law Louella B. Shackleford of Danville, KY. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 noon Saturday to go to the cemetery.
