Obituary Herbert OConner Jones of Pennington Gap, VA was born on August 19, 1954 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away October 5, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Docha Jones, three sisters Creda Hall, Darlene Smith and Irene, three brothers Johnny Jones, Ben Kirk and Walter Jones, and his former wife Terry Jones. Herbert is survived by his wife Betty Jones of the home, his daughter Kristie Williams and husband, Troy Williams II of Coeburn, VA, two grandchildren and the lights of his life, Olivia Tinsley and Morgan Williams of Coeburn, VA, two sisters Mary Johnson of Harlan, KY, Patricia Oldham and husband, Roger of Australia, two brothers Joseph Jones, Millard Jones and wife, Marsha all of Lebanon, OH and multiple nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Tommy Kiser officiating.
