Obituary Harold Davis age 71 of Dryden, VA was born Tuesday, February 25, 1947 in Dryden and passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Indian Path Hospital in Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by his companion Loretta Cox, parents Raymond and Ethel Davis, brothers Enos Davis, Charlie Davis, Gene Davis and Lester Davis. Harold is survived by his daughters Betty Joe Stapleton and husband, Richard of Pennington Gap, VA, Angela Petrey and husband, Ricky of Pennington Gap, VA, Tina Davis and companion, Leroy Bolton of Blackwater, VA, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one brother Don Davis of Mt. Airy, NC, one sister Mable Davis of Dryden, VA and several nieces, nephews and a host of other extended family. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Monday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at funeral home at 10:00 AM Tuesday to go to the cemetery.
