Gretta Faye Martin McKnight, 52, of Norton passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Gretta was born on June 13, 1972 in Lee County, Virginia to the late Truman and Sally Ann Boggs Martin. She worked as the supervisor of the housing authority for the City of Norton for many years.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by brother, Dale Boggs.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Allen McKnight; daughter, Shawna McKnight; grandchildren, Devin and Dalton McKnight; along with several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Per Gretta's wishes she will be cremated with no formal services.
