Gregory Allen Ball, 59, of Pennington Gap died on Saturday, October 21, 2023

Greg lived in Virginia and North Carolina. He worked in construction, furniture factories, and drove log trucks.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Jessee and Clora Ball; brothers, John Ball, Bobby Ball, Edd Ball, and Paul Lewis Ball; sisters, Marie Hernandez and Manassa Ball.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Frank Ball and wife Carol of Pennington Gap, Virginia; sisters, Mary Edwards and husband Roger of Woodway, Virginia, Edith Murphy and husband Harry of St. Charles, Virginia, Patsy Shattuck of Knoxville, Tennessee, Bessie Fleenor of Franklin, North Carolina; and long time friend, Sandy Jones and her children. Greg was loved by a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Roy Webb officiating. A committal service will follow the funeral service at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway with Roger Lynn Edwards, Bobby Ray Ball, Frankie Richard Ball, Larry Hart Jr., Cody Jones, and Andrew Byington serving as pallbearers.
