Glenn Roger Whited Sr., 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Roger was born on April 24, 1940, to the late Carson and Clara Whited in Kentucky. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Whited.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Brenda Whited; two daughters, Andrea Freeman and Karen Barnette; one son, Glenn Roger Whited Jr.; one grandson, Tristan Barnette; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Ira Clark officiating the service.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Middleton Cemetery, Military rites will be observed by Veterans of Foreign War, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion Honor Guard preceding the committal service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:30 pm.
