Glenda Darlene Byington, 70, of Big Stone Gap passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Glenda was born on December 27, 1953 in Lee County, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her father, Houston Morris Byington and mother, Colene Bledsoe Byington. as well as her brother's Gary and James Byington.

She leaves behind a special aunt, Barbara Bledsoe; a very special friend, Bill Prillman; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Joshua Howard officiating. Music will be provided by Joshua and Adriana Howard.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
