Gladys Ruth Herron age 93 of Woodway, VA was born in St. Charles, VA on Friday, June 30, 1922 and passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Mizpah Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Roxie Young and her husband, Henry Herron. Gladys is survived by her son Randell Herron and wife, Becky of Chattsworth, GA, three daughters Carolyn Ramey of Chattsworth, GA, Brenda Napier of Brunswick, GA and Alice Faye Riggs and husband, Darrell of Woodway, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers B. Young of Knoxville, TN and Allen Ishmael Young and wife, Rosemary of Chicago, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Darrell Riggs to do the eulogy.
