Obituary Gladys Ann Cooper age 75 of Pennington Gap, VA was born November 20, 1946 in Pennington Gap and passed away March 8, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Margrett Johnson, one grandchild Michael Cooper, one great-grandchild Elijah Long, four brothers Carl Dean Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Jr., Hardy Franklin Johnson and Donald Johnson, three sisters Mildred Greer, Gloria Johnson and Carey Johnson. Gladys is survived by her husband Leonis Cooper of the home, one son Lee Cooper of Pennington Gap, VA, three grandchildren Kristy Long, Misty Cooper, Ernest Lee Cooper, Jr., granddaughters-in-law Taylor Cooper and Sarah Cooper, grandsons-in-law Jason Long and Matthew Ormsbee, great-grandchildren Brandon Kirk, Evan and Mason Cooper, Aiden, Ashton, and Austin Cooper, Auroa Long and Matthew Michael Ormsbee, four brothers Willie Johnson, Michael Johnson, Roger Johnson and Robert Johnson. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral will be held at 3:00 PM with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
