Obituary Gerald Wayne Poteet age 69 of Woodway, VA was born December 20, 1952 in Lee County, VA and passed away September 1, 2022 at his home. He enjoyed horses, welding and had worked most of his life in the coal mines. He was preceded in death by his parents Ross and Sue Poteet. Gerald is survived by his wife Wanda Blevins Poteet of the home, one son James Ross Poteet and wife, Makayla of Woodway, VA. There will be a private visitation with burial to follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Paul Davis, Jr. will be doing the graveside service.
