Gerald Wayne Nichols age 60 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Friday, February 4, 1955 and passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had been a construction worker and attended the Station Creek Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Reba Shuler Nichols, parents Newt and Phoebe Nichols and a sister Linda Jones. Gerald is survived by two sisters Nancy Woliver and husband, Fred of Pennington Gap, VA and Ida Woliver of Tucker, GA. He is also survived by a nephew Jimmy Woliver of Cumming, GA, nieces Heather Gardiner and husband, Larry and Teresa Britton and husband, Terry, great-nieces Ava Woliver, Brook Jones and husband, Jonathan, Jessica Kelly and husband, Jonathan and Kelly Copeland and husband, Bruce and great-nephews Mack Gilliam and Taylor Gilliam. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with a graveside to follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
