Georgia McGinnis Wilder was born in Lee County, VA on January 3, 1929 and passed away November 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Perna McGinnis, her husband Puttie L. Wilder and one brother, Sam McGinnis. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Wilder and wife Velma of Dearborn Heights, MI and Denver Collins and wife Wanda of Indiana; three grandsons, Keith Wilder, Kevin Wilder and wife Doreen all of Dearborn Heights, MI and Bo Collins of Indiana; four granddaughters, Brandi McQueen, Sandy, Carol and Angie Collins; great-grandchildren Peyton and Jordyn Wilder and many nieces and nephews; also two special friends, Thelma Moore and Peggy Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Sunday, November 6, 2016 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with George Flanary and Mike McGinnis officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. Sunday until time of service. Burial will follow at Lee memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
