Geneva "Ginny" Castellenas, age 92, went to be with the Lord Saturday evening, February 21, 2026 while at the Holston Valley Medical Center.

She was born a daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Poteet) Livesay on April 12, 1933 in Possum Hollow, VA

She was a proud retiree of General Motors, Detroit, MI and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Pennington Gap as long as her health permitted.

She was the widow of her beloved husband; John Castellenas who together, were lovingly known as "Ricky and Lucy" together they made the perfect match.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her 3 beloved sons: Larry Cannon, Garry Lee and Randall Lee. Special aunts: Edith Davis, Marie McConnell, Susie Williams and Nila Poteet.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her son and best friend: Gregory G. Cannon of the home.

Special Nieces: Vickie Utley and Barbara Thomas and a special nephew; Ricky Money along with the whole Castellenas clan of Detroit, Michigan

The visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 12:30 pm until 1 pm. A funeral service will at 1pm in the chapel of the Pennington Gap Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bradford-Daniel Family Cemetery, Rose Hill, VA
