Fay McKay Elliott, 84, of Jonesville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Fay was born on March 24, 1940 in Dawson, Georgia to the late, James Harris and Mable Giles. Fay's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved spending time with them and caring for them.

Along with her parents Fay is preceded in death by her husband, Oren Howard Elliott Jr.; father, James Harris; parents, Sargent R.S. and Mable Sheffield; sons, Michael Elliott and Christopher Elliott.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Oren Howard Elliott III (Gail); daughter, Vicki Stallard (Jim); grandchildren, Randy Surber (Angie), Christy Cantey (Evan), Kelli Bledsoe (Jordan), and Howard Elliott IV (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Wyatt Surber, Harper Bledsoe, Oren Elliott V, Tiah Bledsoe, Addison Elliott, and Kora Bledsoe; sisters, Jean Larson and Gwen Kremenski.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes in Fay's memory.
