Eula G. Robbins was born April 4, 1926 in Appalachia, VA and passed away March 5, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, VA at the age of 90 years. She had lived in Chicago, IL 29 years and returned to Lee County in 1988. She had worked in Oak Ridge, TN during W.W. II and loved working in her garden and reading her bible. She was also a member of Gilberts United Methodist Church in the Hickory Flats Community of Woodway, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Robbins in 2004; her father and mother, Robert W. Wright and Ada Richardson Wright; her brothers, Ben Wright, Kyle Wright and James (Jim) Wright; two sisters, Doris Ann Pennington and June Parsons. She is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne Robbins of Garland, TX; one sister, Wilma Cooper of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap with Richard Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilberts United Methodist Church in the Hickory Flats Community of Woodway, VA.
