Obituary Etta Ruth Bowens age 91 of Pennington Gap, VA was born December 31, 1930 in Virginia Lee in St.Charles, VA and passed away November 22, 2022 at Lee Health & Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. Etta enjoyed crafting, gardening and making quilts. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Bowens and her parents William "Cracker" Wallen and Grace, two brothers Fred and Brad Wallen. Etta is survived by two sons Gregory Bowens in Big Stone Gap, VA and one daughter Emma Miles of St. Charles, VA. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren whom she loved very much. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA.
