Obituary

Ernest "Ernie" Bradley Pendergraft was born on December the 29th and was an affectionate, dedicated, and hard working man. Who always put the needs of others before his own. Ernie worked for General Motors for thirty years, retiring afterwards to marry the love of his life. Born in Jonesville, Virginia and lived in Dryden, Virginia where he made his home and was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit, and witty sense of humor. He was of the Baptist faith and a firm believer in God. His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered. His passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. He liked wood working, fishing, and enjoyed life to the fullest while being a joker, bringing laughter and joy to every occasion.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Fannie Pendergraft; two sisters, Bobbie Davis and Bernice Pendergraft; two brothers, Burl and Billy Pendergraft; son, Brad Pendergraft.

He is survived by his wife, Suzie Pendergraft of the home; son, Shane Herron and his wife Heather; along with several nieces and nephews, several grandchildren as well as great grandchildren.

Per Ernie's request, he will be cremated with no formal services.

Ernest "Ernie" Bradley Pendergraft and his family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
