Obituary Emory Henry Lawson age 86 of the Olinger Community of Dryden, VA was born Friday, December 25, 1931 in Dryden and passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He had been a farmer and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Will Pat Lawson and Ida Lawson, two sisters Beulah Christian and Juanita Staudinger, two brothers Don Lawson and Dave Lawson. Emery is survived by one brother Claude Lawson and wife, Sandra of Dryden, VA and one sister Fannie Blanken of Dryden, VA. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2018 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM with Tommy Ely officiating.
