Emma June Miles, 77, of St. Charles, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Emma was born June 1, 1947 in St. Charles, VA to the late Elmer and Etta Ruth Wallen Bowens.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Wayne Miles; son, Charles Herman Shepard; two grandchildren, Melinda Sue Shepard and Sabrina Mae Shepard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Melissa Sweeney and husband Wayne; two brothers, William Bowens of Fillmore, Missouri and Greg Bowens; daughter in law, Carolyn Shepard.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Graveyard Hill Cemetery in St. Charles, VA with Pastor Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 PM.
