Obituary Emily Jeanette Stine age 62 of Big Stone Gap, VA was born Wednesday, March 18, 1959 in Olinger, VA and passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband John Charles Stine, Jr., one grandchild Callie Jayne Crawford, her father Eugene Shuler, and two brothers Roger and Bruce Shuler. Emily is survived by her mother Elizabeth Shuler of East Stone Gap, VA, three sons John Stine III of Georgetown, KY, William Stine of Jeffersonville, IN and James Stine of Big Stone Gap, VA, two daughters Christine Ramey and husband, Gary of Winchester, VA, and Elizabeth Kinser and husband, Scott of Big Stone Gap, VA, and six grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers Eugene Shuler, Jr. and wife, Kim of Exeter, VA, Raymond Shuler of Derby, VA, Thomas Shuler and wife, Norma of Olinger, VA and Daniel Shuler and wife, Robin of Anacoco, LA, two sisters Pamela Rainey and husband, Eric of Appalachia, VA, Eugenia Gilliam and husband, James of Big Stone Gap, VA, several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA.
