Obituary Elmer L. Hurst age 79 of Dryden, VA was born Monday, February 19, 1940 in Hutch, KY and passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Maude Hurst and one brother Glen Hurst. Elmer is survived by one brother Lee Hurst and wife, Joyce of Indianapolis, IN, one sister Jean Collins of Dryden, VA, special nephew Junior Collins and wife, Carla of Dryden, VA, a dear friend Maudie Niece of Pennington Gap, VA and a host of many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor John Raeside officiating.
