Ella Baszkiewicz, 78, of Duffield, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at her home.

Raised in Australia, Ella came to the United States and settled in the Philadelphia area, and lived in both Hamilton Township and Browns Mills, New Jersey for most of her life. She worked many years in bookkeeping and, after retiring, moved to "the farm" in Duffield, Virginia.

Ella, affectionately "The Crafter," enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing, and selling her creations at local craft shows and fairs. She was an avid reader and loved working on jigsaw puzzles. Ella also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, supporting their endeavors.

Ella is survived by her partner of many years, Ronald Bendig of Duffield, VA, her children Vera Mekash, Nadia Baszkiewicz Osowski, and Michael Baszkiewicz, son-in-law Chad Mekash, daughter-in-law Meredith Baszkiewicz, and grandchildren, Gary and Jesse Mekash, Cadence Osowski, and Lily Baszkiewicz, as well as Ron's siblings, James Carroll and Melissa Fillius, mother, Marge Becker, and uncle, Bill Dilks. She is also survived by many other family and friends who loved her dearly, and is predeceased by Ron's aunt, Nancy Dilks, whom she loved very much.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 12 pm at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.

A private luncheon for immediate family will be held following visitation.
