Obituary Eliza Jerolene Edens, age 77, of Pennington Gap, VA was born May 27, 1942 in Dryden, VA and passed away May 26, 2020 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Woodway, VA. She loved to garden and flower planting. She was a sweet lady and was kind to many and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Bradley Tyler Edens, son Bradley Ray "Tiny" Edens, parents Bud and Gladys Harless, sisters Kathy King, Betty Bryson, Wilma Harless, brothers James Harless, Arnold Harless, Jimmy Harless, Jay Harless, Jerry Harless and Bobby Harless. Eliza is survived by one son Ricky Lee Edens and wife, Betty of Duffield, VA; one daughter Julie Elizabeth Gunn and husband, Michael of Pennington Gap, VA; her grandchildren Heather Edens, and Josh Edens both Pennington Gap, VA, Chris Stapleton of Ohio, Nichole Kellly and husband, Randy of Kentucky, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Jackson Harless of Pennington Gap, VA, Billy Harless and wife, Betty of South Carolina, David Harless and wife, Christy of St. Charles, VA; sisters Linda Bradley and husband, Paul of Marion, VA, Loretta Oaks and husband, Jeff of Gate City, VA, Judy Statzer and husband, Kenny of Bristol, VA, and Dorothy Harless of Pennington Gap, VA; a host of nieces, nephews and friends and her special friend Harriette James. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Paul Davis Jr. officiating.
