Edward Taylor Bowles, 81, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2025 at Lee County Community Hospital surrounded by his family.

Edward was born on January 20, 1944 to the late William and Edith Bowles. He spent many years as a maintenance worker at Pak Mor and PMT. Edward served on the Stickleyville Volunteer Fire Department for more than 35 years.

Along with his parents, he is preceded by a brother in law and sister in law, Tommie and Sandy Burke.

Those left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 60 years, Peggy Bowles; a son, Jamie Bowles and wife Nicole; a daughter, Tammy Bowles; grand children, Taylor, Tate, Olivia; brother in law, (Larry) and Emogene Mitchell; sister in law, Ruth and Gary Vincent and Jimmy Campbell (Susie). As well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm with Pastors Curtis Hale and Paul Davis Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stickleyville Volunteer Fire Department.
